The Best Time To Visit
From May to September
The best time to visit Peru is during its dry season, which runs from May to September. This period offers pleasant weather with sunny days and cooler nights, making it ideal for exploring the highlands, including Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and Cusco. The dry season is also great for hiking, as trails like the Inca Trail are less muddy and more accessible. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so expect more crowds at popular attractions. If you're looking for fewer tourists and are willing to tolerate some rain, the shoulder months of April and October can be a good compromise.

Day 3 – Lima & Barranco Tour
In the morning you will explore Lima.
Secrets of Ancient Peru at Larco Museum Embark on a journey through history at the renowned Larco Museum, home to one of the world’s most extensive collections of pre-Columbian art. Explore nearly 45,000 artefacts arranged in chronological order, which illuminate Peru’s ancient past from its earliest settlers to the heights of the Inca civilisation. Highlights include the fascinating ‘Erotic Room’ and its unique display of Moche ceramics.
In the afternoon visit to bohemian and artistic Barranco. It is a journey full of art, culture, and flavor awaits us in Lima’s bohemian neighborhood par excellence: Barranco. We will explore its streets that still keep their colonial and republican legacy as the Saenz Peña Boulevard, which stands out for its old houses influenced by the Gothic style. The deeper we go into Barranco, the more we will be surprised by its picturesque houses, many of them converted into workshops or museums, as is the case of Jade Rivera and Victor Delfin. We will enter both to learn a little more about the artists’ work and see unique pieces. Barranco is characterized by the energy breathed into its beautiful boardwalk, with an extraordinary view of the Pacific Ocean. Following it, we will arrive at the Bridge of Sighs or ‘Puente de los Suspiros’, one of the most important attractions of the district, inspiring unique legends and motivating songs and poems. The renowned interpreter Chabuca Grande dedicated one of her most popular songs to it, and we will see a sculpture in her honor. As we walk towards the district’s main square, we will see dozens of colorful murals with which we can take pictures. The flavor touch awaits at El Cacaotal, a favorite place for chocolate and coffee lovers, where we can taste a drink and learn more about the high quality of Peruvian coffee and cocoa. For the shopping fanatics, we will take a look at some Peruvian art and handicraft stores to take a souvenir home before ending our adventure in Barranco.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your hotel to the restaurant for dinner at CALA restaurant (set menu)

Day 5 – Sacred Valley & Optional Raffting
Sacred Valley – Private – Full Day Tour: Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo.
Today, we will learn about the tradition and history of the Sacred Valley, the traces left by its ancient inhabitants, and the culture of its current towns. Beginning at the Raqchi viewpoint, we will have a spectacular view of the valley before going down to explore it. From the top, we will have a majestic view of the ancient Maras salt mines, where the coveted Maras salt – one of the finest in the world – is collected. We will see almost 3,000 pools that in Inca times were an important center for the imperial economy. Today, it continues to be a valuable source of income for hundreds of families. With stunning panoramic views of the mosaic of terraces and ponds, Maras offers the perfect setting for photography enthusiasts. We will also arrive at the Moray archaeological site, which resembles a natural amphitheater. During the Tahuantinsuyo, it functioned as a laboratory and agricultural research center, according to some studies. Its enormous concentric terraces and the variety of microclimates they created allowed the growth of a variety of crops. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, an ancient military, religious, and agricultural center of the Incas. Strategically located on a mountain, its imposing fortress is a sample of all the Inca power. We will visit the main temple, terraces, and fountains, while we enjoy an unbeatable view of the town, the only one that maintains the original Inca urban design and which we can also visit to see its stone streets, its market and breathe the spirit of the Andes. Lunch will be provided at Casa Hacienda Huayoccari.
Rafting Adventure in Ollantaytambo (optional)
Embark on a thrilling rafting journey along the Urubamba River. Navigate through gentle rapids and enjoy awe-inspiring views of the Sacred Valley. The adventure concludes at a private riverside retreat with access to changing facilities.

Day 8 – City tour Cusco, San Pedro market
This fascinating tour of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City of the Incas, will give you insights into the city’s history, the daily life of its people, and its importance to the Andean region. We begin at the city’s iconic local market — considered by locals to be the true, beating heart of the city — where we’ll explore the vibrant colors, flavors, and traditions of Cusco, both modern and traditional. We’ll then continue to the Koricancha, also known as the Golden Temple, the most important temple in the Inca Empire and the center of worship for Inti, the Sun God. Although the Spanish Dominican order built a church over the original temple, the foundations and stonework of Koricancha remain visible. Leaving this Inca temple, we continue to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Built with massive stone blocks, this impressive example of Inca military architecture is located on the outskirts of the city. From here, we’ll continue on foot along picturesque cobblestone streets, enjoying panoramic views of the city, passing by the Sapantiana “Huaca” and Colonial Aqueduct, and through the famous artisan neighborhood of San Blas as we make our way down to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where we’ll visit the Cathedral, the city’s most important church. Afterward, you can return to your hotel or, if you prefer, stay in the Historic Center to continue exploring at your own pace
