After enduring years of dreary British weather whilst living in London, Farzaan, along with Sarah Nawaz and Naushard Jabir, founded the luxury travel business Sri Lankan Dreams in the UK (www.srilankandreams.com).

On the fourth year of business having provided wonderful tours of Sri Lanka for our clients, we embarked on setting up Dream Cliff.

Driven to provide our clients with a unique, breath-taking experience, Dream Cliff Mountain Resort was built to capture the essence and tranquillity of nature and the splendour of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Two questions that are often asked at the resort today is how did you all build this and who is the architect?

The resort is built in the memory of Adam and Eve (peace be upon them). In both religious and cultural beliefs, it is widely held that they had their first steps on Earth on the mountain that is known today as Adam’s Peak (not too far away from the resort) after they were exiled from the Garden of Eden.

We built Dream Cliff for our clients to have the best that this world can offer.

Accomodation

Each room is a standalone cabana named as ‘Beehive’, each with a spectacular, uninterrupted view all the way from the bed through to the balcony and beyond to the mountains and valleys.

All beehives are circular, with a dome roof, en-suite toilet, glass tempered doors and large private balconies and sitting patios. The luxurious bedding and linen makes you feel light, cosy and comfortable, giving you the feeling of being up in the heavens as you enjoy the spectacular views from your bed.

The resort has a unique and one-of-a-kind Infinity ‘Tsunami’ Swimming Pool to relax and take in the views.

Dining

Our restaurant serves colourful and aromatic Sri Lankan cuisine, along with a selection of European dishes. Both our restaurants offer scenic views of the mountain ranges all the way through to the coast on clear sunny days.

Honey Comb Restaurant is a hilltop restaurant and occupies the center view of the gap in the mountain range. It features ethnic rustic interior, elegant characteristic with a scenic view at every seat. The restaurant offers signature Sri Lankan cuisines and a range of European meals.

Sky Deck is the upper floor deck and on par with the clouds. It offers 360-degree views of the surrounding mountain ranges. One can see up-to five districts of Sri Lanka namely Badulla, Monergala, Ratnapura, Hambanthota and Ampara. The restaurant serves breakfast and in the evening BBQ and dinner. A relaxing teacup is ready to be served any time of the day.
