Copacabana Palace
Rio’s grand period hotel is an art deco dame made famous by guests like Lady Diana, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Orson Welles and countless other celebrities whose photographs adorn the corridors. Rooms are in the French Belle Epoque style and sit in the 1930s building or a less attractive modern annexe. The pool is one of the best in Brazil. Copacabana beach is literally right outside the lobby.
