Antsanitia Resort is an eco-touristic resort that has been fully integrated into its natural and human environment. It offers 33 rooms which are mixture of bungalows and suites with a pool.
The cuisine is composed of the best products from artisanal fisheries, of vegetables grown by the villagers and fruits full of delicious flavour. All of the dishes are homemade such as pastries, jam and ice cream.
The village of Antsanitia has stayed very close to ancestral traditions. The local tribe is called Sakalava. Most of the population are involved in fishing and farming. Cattle breeding is a major activity. The zebu are used for plowing, transport and for food. Moreover, breeding cattle is a highly symbolic aspect of the Sakalava’s tribal culture.
