This boutique hotel inspired by a Mauritian Creole style is decorated entirely by the prestigious Belgian decorator, Flamant.
You can choose from one of the 36 rooms and suites. Unique and personalised by theme, they are distributed in one-storey buildings and face the lagoon. Some of them even have a hot tub or a small relaxation pool for added privacy.

Charm Rooms
Overlooking the beautiful coconut grove which open onto the sea. 8 of the rooms have an outdoor shower.
Beachfront Rooms
Beautiful rooms, radiant, on the waterfront and offer a stunning view of the bay of Grant Baie.
Suites
2 suites with an area of 50m2, facing Grand Baie. They are located 20 m from the beach. Each suite is equipped with outdoor jacuzzi, Nespresso coffee machine, and iPod station.
Austral Suites
All of different style, each of the Austral suites, on the ground floor are equipped with a private plunge pool overlooking the sea. These located on the first floor are equipped with jacuzzi.

Dining

An experience of discovery and pleasure, worthy of all senses. 20 Degrees South offers three exclusive dining spaces. The kitchen is run by the talented Mauritian chef Sanjeev Purahoo whose cuisine caters to all tastes, moods and occasions.

M/S Lady Lisbeth
We offer an exclusivity in Mauritius: the possibility of boarding the oldest motorboat on the island, the M / S Lady Lisbeth.
This 17m long “vintage” teak boat, built in 1929, has been completely restored by us following vintage photos found at the small marine museum of Taylor Smith shipyard in Port Louis.
Only the hull, in Burma teak, was still in good condition. We rebuilt all the superstructures, had masts identical to the initial ones, and the original fittings were purchased from a ship-wrecking yard near Bombay.
Every evening, it will sail for a dinner cruise on the calm waters of the bay. The embarkation of the 8 privileged is scheduled around 19:30 and return around 23:00. It is also possible to exclusively book it, for a magical evening for two, to organize an intimate wedding or a reception in privacy.

L’Explorateur
L’Explorateur is a real invitation to travel. The crossing begins with the discovery of different atmospheres. On one side, nestled in the heart of the hotel is the stone terrace close to the pool. On the other side of the sea, you will find the bay of Grand Bay and the horizon where getaway dreams are fed.
We are seduced by the singularity of the place, captivated by the menu, the different flavours, the marriage of fine cuisine facing the sea and local products sublimated by the expertise of a passionate and creative chef.
La Voile
It is on the Malartic Point facing the ocean and Coin de Mire that we installed La Voile. This original concept brings together a chef and a bartender who share a counter under a beautiful sail open to the sea.
Everything has been designed so that you can go from the lagoon to the pool, from the deckchair to the canopy bed while enjoying fresh and light preparations in delicacy.
Open in the afternoon until sunset, La Voile is exclusively reserved for our resident clients.

Discover the golf courses such as Golf Mon Choisy (which is located a few minutes from the hotel), The Links Golf Course and Legend Golf Course which line this paradise island.
Ideally located on the shores of the Grand Bay lagoon, the boutique hotel is the ideal place for water activities including kite surfing. They also offer guests a free nautical array with snorkelling equipment, kayak, laser, paddle and more.
Explore the treasures of the Mauritian lagoon with a fully equipped diving session from 10am to 11am near the coral reef. They also work with different diving clubs for a first baptism or night expeditions.
20 Degrees South has two very beautiful pools of water heated in winter to 26 degrees tiled with shale slabs.
To differ from the usual land excursions, the hotel offer land activities that will allow you to make unforgettable memories. Helicopter, horse riding, quad, hikes and more are waiting for you!

The hotel is only suitable for older children, who must be 12 years or older to stay.
Two pairs of charm rooms have interconnecting doors. A third bed can also be put into certain rooms for an adult or a child.
