Nosy Tanikely Marine National Park

A Natural Aquarium

Nosy Tanikely is a tiny, uninhabited island surrounded by patches of shallow coral and sandy beaches. Nosy Tanikely means “island of the little land”. This natural aquarium is famous for its marine reserve teeming with underwater flora and fauna. It offers superb snorkelling in warm waters with great visibility. You can discover angelfish, clown fish, puffer fish, grouper and spotted stingrays.

Visit the village of Ampangorina, the largest village on the island with many handy-craft shops and restaurants. Also, you will be able to spot red and black lemurs in the village forest on the hills.
