Day 1 –  Departure from your destination – arrive in Tanzania

Upon arrival at either Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. After a brief introduction, you’ll receive bottles of mineral water and enjoy a private transfer to your lodge or hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Day 2 – Kilimanjaro Mountain Trekking via Marangu Route

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marangu Gate to start your trek. Marangu is the easiest of Kilimanjaro’s six trekking routes. The day trek to Mandara Hut covers 8km (5 miles) and an elevation gain from 6,046 ft to 8,858 ft, taking about 4-5 hours. You will pass through the rainforest with opportunities to see blue monkeys and various bird species. After reaching Mandara Hut, you may explore further to Maundi Crater for views of the mountain and Kenya. Following lunch and a rest, you will descend to the gate and be transferred back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Arusha National Park – Game Drive and Cycling Tour

After breakfast, head to Arusha National Park for a mix of game drives and a cycling tour. The game drive leads to Ngorodoto Crater, where your ride begins around the crater rim with stunning views. A park ranger will accompany you, as wildlife such as buffalo, colobus monkeys, and giraffes may be encountered. The ride is partly on gravel and animal tracks, featuring some steep ascents and descents. A picnic lunch will be provided, and after an authentic experience, you’ll return to your lodge or hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Tarangire National Park Game Drive

Following breakfast, you’ll journey to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest park known for its large elephant population and majestic baobab trees. During your game drive, you may see lions, giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras, along with a picnic lunch inside the park. After an exciting day of exploration, you will transfer to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive

Day 6 –  Visit to the Hadzabe Tribe at Lake Eyasi

Spend the day visiting the Hadzabe tribe at Lake Eyasi, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You’ll learn about their ancient way of life and gain insight into their vast knowledge of the environment. After this cultural encounter, drive to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Game Drive from Serengeti to Lake Natron

Day 11 – Nature and Cultural Excursions at Lake Natron, Return to Arusha

The ground around the lake is muddy and slippery, but the breathtaking sight of thousands of flamingos is worth the effort. Afterward, you’ll enjoy lunch before heading to the nearby Ngaresero Waterfalls for a scenic hike. Prepare to get wet as you cross the river a few times during the hike. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your lodge or hotel.
